Our Neighbors

Alleghany Meats
Our small Humane-Certified animal processing center.  USDA inspected meat handled with the utmost respect for the animal.  Which, in turn, provides you with the best quality beef around.
Chris Fuller is the manager of the Ag Center.  Chris has his degree in Anthropology, studying, food systems in communities.  He went on to graduate from Johnson and Wales Culinary School.  He worked at a restaurant with its own butchering facilities in Durango, Colorado, before coming to Monterey to help us get started.  He and all the rest of the staff at Alleghany Meats have been trained in humane animal handing practices.
